I volunteered for Raptorwatch 2018 at Tanjung Tuan last 10 and 11 March 2018. It was a fun and rewarding experience. I brought mainly schoolchildren both days. We did not sight much raptors on Saturday as the weather was mid-cast. Next day, it was hot and humid and we saw more raptors on Sunday. I was tasked to guide to Vantage Point where you hike along the forest of Tanjung Tuan to a view point of Batu Putih. A beautiful limestone hill overlooking the sea view of the Straits of Malacca.
We started guiding both days at 9am and ended around 4pm on Saturday and 12 noon on Sunday. It was memorable experience for me and my friends.
