Went bike recce today and was amazed how beautiful and wonderful the quiet spots in Kuala Lumpur were. Flowers bloom and fell onto the park and you could see people fish in the river. Its the season of sakura and you don’t need to go far to experience the fallen flowers of sakura. Penang Sakura will be in full bloom again throughout the month of March and April.  It turns the landscape, as well as streets and pavements into a beautiful and colourful sight. These ‘Malaysian sakura trees’ are actually Tecoma Trees (Tabebuia rosea) or pokok kertas tisu (Bahasa Melayu for ‘tissue paper tree’).

Take time to admire the surroundings around you. Smell and see things around you, amid your busyness.
